Grandparents, daughter, son-in-law and the two grandchildren eagerly follow the friendly owner inside the ground floor harbour-side, coastal town apartment. The missus will soon forget her pains when she gets into this” he says laughing. His son-in-law beams as he realises that he and his wife will be sharing a four poster “and we'll be having a second honeymoon so will need to rent a bigger apartment next year.” The boys not wanting to be left out have abandoned the TV and gone in search of their room. The squeals and laughter drifting from there are enough to confirm that they are equally happy.

Grandma has yet to see the Jacuzzi but she is already overjoyed that everything is on one level.

Before the family sets off for the nearby sandy beach next morning, dad checks emails, on his notebook, using the apartment's excellent Wi-Fi connection. After lunch, they all set off for a trip to the maritime museum, with its interactive exhibits. There's also a local history museum that they plan to visit later in their holiday. A range of shops, two pubs, various restaurants and a leisure centre with spa, are conveniently close by. The apartment is perfectly situated for a diversity of sights including a theme park and next on their list, a trip on a steam train, to a medieval historic market town.
